We're trying to plan a trip. You'd think this wouldn't be stressful, but you'd be wrong.
So it seems the best and possibly only time this Summer that we will get an actual vacation. We went to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, but that was only a 3 day trip. And, it wasn't a vacation-vacation... Just a weekend trip.
Sooo, our plan WAS to go to Florida & to Michigan. But, some things didn't quite work out, so that is probably not the case now. To get to FL it is 11 hours from where we are. And, then if we left FL to go to MI, that would be a 19 hr drive! So, you see the inconvenience...?
As of right now, our plan is... Florida for a week mid July, before my work gets busy with "back-to-school season". And, then we'll come home, and I'll be there for work through the rest of July and all through August. Then before we have our inventory weekends... being in September and October, possibly. We are planning a weekend trip to MI for 3-4 days, either the 1st or 2nd weekend in September. Hopefully that all works out!!
I'll request the time off when I go back to work on Tuesday.
