Day Four, Five and Six.

Whoa, I am a serious blog slacker. Not unusual for me... lol.

Day Four was Friday, January 27, 2012
Friday, we went to Murfreesboro to pick my ring up from Kay Jewelers, as I had to have it resized. Adam and I got lunch at Salsarita's, it was good but he didn't feel well half way through the mail. We got coffee at Starbucks and drove him. That was about it for the day, came home and relaxed.

Day Four Blog Challenge
If you won the lottery what would you blow your money on (after charity and bills, of course) list 10 material possessions you would buy for yourself.
Well, that kind of depends on how much money I would have won. I think first...after the bills and charity of course, like it says... we would purchase new vehicles. We would finish remodeling our home. And, once we were settled we would take care of any and all fertility treatments or set aside for adoption. After that we'd be sure to have some in savings. Of course that depends on how much money we won.

Day Five: Saturday, January 28, 2012
Adam woke up a whole lot through the night..sick. He has maybe a stomach flu? I'm not sure, I feel bad. I hope he starts to feel better soon. I went and got him some Jello, Sprite, chicken noodle soup...the classic essential "sick foods". Needless to say we sat around and didn't do anything.

Day Three

Went to the dentist today. =/ I wouldn't mind it so much if they didn't want me to have procedures done that I can't quite afford, with all the other things going, new house and stuff.

I went in for a cleaning and to discuss some jaw discomfort. Well, I have TMJ. I kind of figured that much. I have to get my wisdom teeth extracted, ya know... put to sleep and then have them cut out and all that grand stuff. Well, I don't mind that part. I mean, I'm not thrilled but I can handle it. Unfortunately, I was supposed to have them removed back in 2006. Well, I obviously did not have that done. So now, I have to have them removed they are reeeeallly impacted. Plus, once I have them extracted I need to have an impression done for a night guard. And, after that he recommends braces, which are not for cosmetic reasons, something about helping with the TMJ and the fact that I still have one baby tooth. I don't know, it was a lot to take in. Anyway, the price for all of that, is a little too hefty for us at the moment.

So lets move on shall we... :)

Time for the blog challenge...Day Three

What's in your makeup bag?

I have a caboodle, not a makeup bag. I have liquid foundation, powder cover up, concealer, numerous eyeliners, mascara, eye shadows, blush, blush brushes, lip gloss, lip stick, chap sticks, mederma scar treatment, fertility test, the label off of the last hair color I used, eye shadow brushes and other tools for makeup application. I also believe I have a bracelet and a watch in there, lol. That is about it.

Day Two

We got great news today, my Papa is cancer free! The surgery was a success. I am so proud of him for being so strong through all of this. God has absolutely answered our prayers. I couldn't have asked for better news to wake up to.

Worked, luckily I have the next 5 days off to relax and what-not. Going to pick my ring up this weekend, finally! I miss it like crazy! I feel naked with out it. Dentist appointment tomorrow, haven't been in awhile...

Day Two (of Blog Challenge)
What's in your handbag?

In my "handbag"? ...I wouldn't so much call it a handbag lol. But, inside it is the basics. I have a smaller bag inside with chapsticks, hand sanitizers, tissues, tampons, etc. Keys, glasses, small calendar, pens, small memo pad, and of course, my wallet. Oh and right now I have all the paperwork on my ring in there because I never took it out when we dropped my ring off to be sized.

Day One

Day 1 - What is the meaning behind your blog name?

I wish I had some clever story about how I came up with my the name of my blog but sadly, I do not. My creativity fell short.

TTC 2011 simply stands for Trying To Conceive and obviously 2011 would be the year (well, last year).

Anyway, that's it. Pretty boring, huh?

Day one in next post*

2012

So I guess an update would be good. Christmas was very nice. Adam bought me a kindle fire, and I absolutely LOVE it. I was so excited to start using it!! I got him some tools and I also bought him a flask and had it engraved. We had a really nice holiday. We went to MI after the holiday and spent the new year with some good friends and my brother. We had a really good time enjoying the company of those we love. It was a great end to 2011 and great beginning to 2012. Looking forward to moving into our home this year and seeing what else the year has to offer us.

I'm so thankful that my Papa is recovering well from his surgery. I think about him a lot every day. And, it makes me so happy to know that he's been doing okay. I wish we could be there with the rest of the family, especially during times like this.

It's been so long since I've updated my blog, I can't even recall the things that have been happening! lol

I've been eating a lot better this year, and I think I am definitely reaping some benefits... for instance. Anyone who reads my blog knows my cycles are anything but regular. Well, I can't be sure that my healthier eating habits is responsible for this ... but, I started my period this month! I was completely shocked. Very happy about this, but shocked none-the-less. So needless to say, it gave me more motivation to continue with my health kick. I can't wait to see if this continues with the coming months.

Maybe 2012 will hold a lot of other good things.
