Hello!
It's been WELL over a year since I've been to my blog.
Why?
I'd love to say I've been busy being a mom, but sadly that is still not the case.
And, while becoming a mom hasn't yet happened, that doesn't mean life stopped altogether.
So, I suppose I could update everyone on where I've been since January 2012 and what exactly I have been doing.
Well, 3 months after my last post, husband and I packed our belongings and headed 9 hours north of our Tennessee home back to where I am originally from... Michigan. My family and our friends are all in Michigan and we decided it was time to return and spend more time with the people we love. Not that we didn't love Tennessee or his family there because we definitely do, and I, of course miss Tennessee, but more to that later. So, we unpacked and settled into our home in the city far from our country life we had gotten so use to. The sounds of the city and cars on the road make hearing the chirps of the birds difficult to hear. No more cars on dirt roads, it's just sirens and horns...we love it none-the-less. We spent a lot of time getting our house together to make it a home, and believe me it's still in the works. While, it's now our home there are still changes and adjustments we have planned! Slowly but surely, coming together.
Life back home in Michigan has been pretty good. Visiting with family and friends makes all the difference in the world.
Although, our journey to expanding our family has a lot of bumps in the road it doesn't mean we've given up,because we haven't. We've just pressed "pause" to settle into our new home and get comfortable. We haven't stopped trying, just haven't sought out the help we know we still need. I expect we will begin trying in full force soon. :)
Unfortunately, I need to cut this blog short but I will be back soon to continue updating!
